Wireless communication course gives strong knowledge on the following

1. Unit-1 deals with the fundamentals of cellular communication system, standards for transmitting &receiving signals via wireless channels and capacity.
2. Unit-2 and Unit - 3 deals with impacts of wireless propagation in accordance with large scale fading model (reflection, diffraction, scattering) and small scale fading model (time and frequency domain variations due to mobility)
3. Unit-4 deals with the techniques to overcome the fading effects (diversity and equalization).
4. Unit -5 gives the fundamentals of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), a modulation technique used in 4G wirless communication system.
